 Dr Tim Lodge |
Dr Lodge has over 16 years experience in sports turf research, agronomy and construction and has worked throughout the UK, the USA and in Europe. He has the only fine turf maintenance and construction oriented PhD in the UK.

| After undertaking additional research work on golf courses, in 1995 Tim began advising sports facilities in the north-east of England, from the Scottish Borders to The Wash. In 1997 he moved to Suffolk to operate initially in East Anglia and subsequently as a senior agronomist with responsibilities to clients throughout the south of England. |

Dr Lodge is a member of the BASIS professional register (MBPR) which allows him to advise on the use of pesticides in the amenity sector, |
|
| a founder member of RIPTA, the Register of Independent Professional Turfgrass Agronomists |  |
|
and also on the UK Register of Expert Witnesses as an expert in all aspects of turf management, construction and establishment.

Dr Lodge has has undertaken a great deal of Research and Development in the field of sports turf. Some of his publications are detailed here.
