Significant achievements in the area of polo ground construction include the redevelopment of the Queens and Dukes grounds at Guards Polo Club and the design and contract management of three new grounds at Cirencester Park Polo Club (ongoing).

Agrostis are proud to be official agronomist to the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) with whose support Tim has recently completed the ‘Private Grounds Project’. This has provided the first step towards objectively classifying grounds as fit for the varying levels of polo.

80 Goal Perfect Polo Match, Argentina, 26th April 2008

The perfect 80-goal perfect polo match was played at Centauros Polo Club; (the previous 80-goal match in Argentina took place 33 years ago at the Campo Argentino de Polo.

It was a beautiful day and a perfect setting for the Perfect Polo Match at Centauros Polo Club

Granaderos defeated Patricios 15-14

Granaderos : Pablo Mac Donough, Bautista Heguy, Gonzalo Pieres (Jr), Facundo Pieres and Bartolomé Castagnola

Patricios : Adolfo Cambiaso, Agustín Merlos, Ignacio Heguy, Miguel Novillo Astrada and Marcos Heguy

It was an exhibition match which featured two 40-goal teams and ten 10-goal Argentine players.

Facundo Pieres was awarded best mounted player, and Agustin Merlos was the top scorer of the match.
