Tim is a specialist in the maintenance, improvement and construction of polo grounds. He has visited and advised many clubs throughout the UK, Ireland and in the USA.

Typically, clients receive up to four advisory visits each year and they may contact Agrostis at any time for immediate support. Advice is given on site and in written reports on :

Current and well known polo clients of Agrostis include Guards, Royal County of Berkshire, Cirencester Park and Coworth Park polo clubs and many more.


 

Significant achievements in the area of polo ground construction include the redevelopment of the Queens and Dukes grounds at Guards Polo Club and the design and contract management of three new grounds at Cirencester Park Polo Club (ongoing).

Agrostis are proud to be official agronomist to the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) with whose support Tim has recently completed the ‘Private Grounds Project’. This has provided the first step towards objectively classifying grounds as fit for the varying levels of polo.

It was an exhibition match which featured two 40-goal teams and ten 10-goal Argentine players.
